The Big Reset.
It’s a thing.
? If you’re anything like me, you can’t remember what you were ‘into’ in February. And all those open tabs on my iPad, each holding something of potential interest have been long closed, replaced by new tabs, for new things, for my new normal.
? Lockdown was a HUGE reset for all of us. Our wants and needs changed overnight. And according to a McKinsey paper, our brand loyalties all but went out the window. Bad news if that’s you that lost loyal customers, good news if you’re the one picking them up.
❌ We see a fair bit of complacency from so many businesses. They lean far too heavily on their repeat, loyal customers without spending time (or money) putting new ones in at the top of the funnel. It’s a recipe for disaster.
✔ So take advantage of the Big Reset; sit down again and ask yourself who needs your product, why should they want yours, how are you relevant to the newness of now, and how will you find these consumers?
Note: There are many ways you can adapt your messaging to suit what your customers need and want to hear now but don’t go overboard on the ‘Covid-19’ mentions. We’re all getting a bit sick of it now, so reflect the tone of now, without going on about it! It’s a tricky balance we know, but we can help if you’d like us to.
